I used to want to do a whole private thing with a pen name & all but now I want to be more personal with you guys (and plus most of you know who I am anyways. Lol.)

1st DAY OF SPRING

NEW BRANDO PIX!

Happy 2 months birthday to Brando! Yay! Here are some new pix that I took of him at the vet getting his 1st set of shots. The camera actually captured the blue in his eyes, which is so dope.

Oh and some pix of him sticking his head out the car window. He loves the wind but if we're going faster than 40 then he'll come back in. Hehe. Not big enough to handle strong wind yet...

WITH AGE COMES STRENGTH & WISDOM

Tomorrow will make it 3 weeks that we've had Brando. And oh how he's grown. He's so much bigger than when I first saw him; he's much stronger & smarter too. Within 3 weeks he:

1) Learned his name

2) Sits when told about 80% of the time

3) Jumps onto big rocks/boulders and from one to another with ease

4) Can go up & down steep hills without hesitation.

5) Used to be scared of going down the stairs & only goes up but now he runs up & down.

6) Is almost, almost potty trained. He sometimes goes to the door & scratch at it like "Hey I gotta go... let me out"

7) Freaking bit off pieces of the big rock in #3 and eats it. His teeth is way too sharp & jaws too strong man

8) Managed to chew open one of his toys (a rhino) so now he can't play with it cuz he gets fluff all over the carpet & sometimes eats it.

9) Can jump to catch a toy that you're dangling in the air

10) And when he gets it? haha. Good luck getting it back. He's got a super grip. I mean, he'll hold on to the toy with his teeth even if you pull the toy up. Ergo he's dangling in the air by his teeth & you can spin him around and he still won't let it go.

11) Eats like crazyyy. We'll feed & walk him & as soon as we come in the door he goes to the food bowl looking for more.

12) His bark is getting deeper. He used to whimper & whine with this high pitch & lately he's had a little bass in his voice. haha. That's my boy!

13) He loves to lie in my lap for naps. Sometimes Actor have to distract him to another side of the room if I have to do something cuz he'll keep pawing me to sit still so he can get in my lap & sleep. Like, I'm on the floor changing out his pads & he'll jump on my back or paw me so I'll turn around & as soon as I do he'll muscle his way onto my lap.

14) He loves to follow Actor around too. That's his boy! During our walks we like to run to let him chase us so he'll get some good exercise. But if Actor's just walking behind us & not running then he'll stop & look back like "What are you doing man? Come onnn." And same goes for when I'm not running; he'll stop & look back at me & then at Actor like "Hold on. She's not running."


We took him to the vet for his 1st set of shots yesterday. He did pretty well considering it was a strange place. Leave it to him to not sit still on the table trying to explore everything & almost fell off like 5 times. He fell onto my lap twice & Actor caught him another time. He stayed pretty still when they had to examine him & all... The diagnosis? He's completely healthy! Yay!

We're taking him over to Aunty's to see his parents & brothers tonight. A little family reunion if you will. I'm excited to see how the other pups have grown :-D

ON LIFE, OSCARS, MUSIC & MORE

Things that have been on my mind as of late (& a few weeks ago that I didn't get a chance to mention)


On Life...
~ I still can't believe that Heath Ledger is gone. Boo. He was starting to become one of my favorite actors.


On Oscars...
~ Johnny Depp didn't win the Oscar. Double Boo! But according to most Daniel Day-Lewis deserved it cuz he's the supposed "truth." I haven't seen any movies that he's been in so I'm gonna have to pass on agreement until I see them. Until then... Boo!

~ Speaking of Depp, I had a dream that Sweeney Todd was chasing me around the city. To kill me of course. And he freaking had the heightened sense of the PERFUME guy. He never caught me but always knew where I was & was just too far behind since he was on foot & I was on wheels. Ahh. Needless to say I woke up shook!

~ Same goes for Marion Cotillard. Never heard of her a day in my life. Got some research to dooo.

~ I'm glad that Bourne Ultimatum won alot of Oscars for Sound Mixing & Editing & etc. That movie was the shiznit! One of my ultimate favorites.

~ Did ya'll see when they cut Marketa Irglova off as she was about to say her acceptance speech?! lmao!!! I laughed as I felt bad. Buahahaha. It was horrible!!!! I'm glad they brought her back out.

~ Speaking of horrible, I dunno if it was the tv that I was watching it on but most of the time when people were presenting the top of their heads were cut off the shot. I was like "Wow. If this isn't my tv messing up then somebody's getting FIREDDDD."

On Music...
~ V.I.C's song "Get Silly" is whack. And including Soulja Boy in it doesn't make it better. I'm so sick of all this WHACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK music. STOP IT!!!!!!!! Do something else with your life. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

~ Someone who's not whack? Chris Brown... If only he was a few years older *sighs* lol. He might be overrated to some, but you can't deny his talent... I had a dream that he was at my job & somehow just him being near me made me know how to dance. Like harddd. lol. I swear I was running up on shelves in the supply room & doing backflips & breakdancing & shat. It was fun :-D

~ Shawty Lo's "Dey Know" (as wrongfully spelled as it is) is a hot song. lol. I loveee the beat. The rhymes are ok but the beat got my attention. He looks funny...

~ J. Holiday's "Suffocate" is banging! I love the swagness of the song. Whew! He's cute but not my type. He got 2 banger singles; keep doing your thing J!

~ Ok. Dance groups in videos. Need I say more? If you're not put together pleaseeee turn down the offer to be in a video. PLEASEEEE. Don't embarass your mama like that.

On TV...

~ I just recently caught a "Keeping up with the Kardashians" marathon. At 1st it was just in the background but then I somehow ended up watching like 5 episodes. It's way better than I thought it was gonna be and Kim is way more down to earth than I thought she was gonna be (well, on the show anyway. Don't know what to or not believe.) I like how deep their family bond is & the drama of course. haha. It's very entertaining.

~ Oh how I love the E! countdowns.

~ Did anybody see the Best Dance Crew thingy on MTV? Whew! BreakSk8 is the best to me. They're killing it on skates! Come on!!! Hands down I'd pick them if I was casting.
