People crack me up. hahahaha. On the news:
"BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield woman faces charges that she counterfeited money and identification cards after her 10-year-old son turned her in to authorities.
According to Kern County Superior Court records, the boy gave sheriff's deputies phony money last month that his mother created. The child told investigators she also had a computer that makes fake ID cards.
Deputies executing a search warrant seized computer disks, scanners and printers.
The thirty-year-old woman is due in court Friday. She faces several charges, including possessing equipment to commit forgery.
Deputies said she was arrested July 4 and posted $50,000 bail the same day."
Hahahhaha. First of all, what a smart little 10 yr. old. He knows the difference between right & wrong. Good for him. Second of all, I wonder if he did it out of spite because she wouldn't give him any of the money that she was making. hahaha. And thirdly, she was arrested & posted $50,000 bail the same day. Uh, she probably paid with the fake money that she made you idiots! LMAO!

GOOD MUSIC STILL EXISTS
Songs that I'm feeling as of late (in random order.) Some of them are kinda old/ played out now cuz I was supposed to write this blog a while back lol. Oh well, I still like them
1) "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down
I love the melody & lyrics of this song. It's beautiful
A hundred days have made me older
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face
A thousand lies have made me colder
And I don't think I can look at this the same
But all the miles that separate
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face
I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time
I'm here without you baby
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight it's only you and me
2) "Stop and Stare" by One Republic
Also love the melody & lyrics of this song.
Steady feet, don't fail me now
I'm gonna run till you can't walk
But something pulls my focus out
And I'm standing down...
Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be, oh
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
3) "Collide" by Howie Day
I love this hook. Love love love the notes.
A light shining through
You're barely waking
And I'm tangled up in you
Yeah
I'm open, you're closed
Where I follow, you'll go
I worry I won't see your face
Light up again
Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
I somehow find
You and I collide
4) "Mercy" by Duffy
I heard this song on the radio a couple of weeks ago & have been trying to hear it again but no one's been playing it. It is HOTTT!!!! Lovee it!!!
I love you
but i gotta stay true
my morals got me on my knees
I'm begging please stop playing games
I don't know what this is
cause you got me good
just like you knew you would
I don't know what you do
but you do it well
I’m under your spell
You got me begging you for mercy
why won't you release me
you got me begging you for mercy
why won't you release me
I said release me

THE DARK KNIGHT
Ok, seriously? When I said you HAVE to go watch The Dark Knight, I meant it. And when I said do whatever you have to do? I meant with good judgement, duhhhhh. Sneaking in to a theater is one thing, but leaving your 2 year old in the car with the windows rolled up to watch TDK is inexcusable. You IDIOT!!! What the *#%! were you thinking? Well, obviously you weren't, but DAMNNNNN!!!
According to the press, David Farnham shares custody with the child's mother & it apparently was his weekend to watch his son. Little old David wanted to go see TDK without any interruptions so he decides to leave him in the car & goes to see the movie. WITH the windows rolled up might I add. It was 11:30 at night but it was still 87 degrees. Yea, need I paint more of the picture?
A fellow movie-goer passed by the car & saw a little boy sweating & crying & called the police. During the last 10 minutes of the movie, they cops went into the theater, turned the movie off, turned the lights on & said that they were looking for Farnham. And they told the crowd why they were arresting him too. lol. Everyone threw stuff at him as he was escorted out of the theater. Man I wish I was there!
Boys & girls, the lesson for the day is to not ever ever ever leave anyone, especially babies in the car by themselves. Especially with the windows rolled up. And especially not for a movie that's almost 3 hours long, ok? Thanks!
Anyhoos, now to the main attraction.
"I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger."
"Bruce: Why don't we put some tables together?
Harvey Dent: I don't think they'll let us.
Bruce: They should…I own the place."

"Wanna know how I got these scars?"
"Bruce: I need a new suit. Lucius: Yes, three buttons is a little '90's, Mr. Wayne"

WANTED
For those of you who haven't seen Wanted yet, what are you waiting for?! No I mean, seriously. Why haven't you seen that movie? Are you ok? And if you haven't seen The Dark Knight yet then shame on you! I mean, I know the economy is bad but come on! Sneak in if you have to, I don't care! Go watch those movies!
I'll talk about Dark Knight next but right now we're gonna focus on Wanted...
Wanted by far has some of the best action that I've ever seen in a movie: the cars, the guns, the stunts, the cast... wheu!!! Loved it!!!
If you haven't seen the trailer (say hi to the rock for me by the way) the movie is basically centered around James McAvoy who plays Wesley Gibson, an anxiety pill popping doormat to family, friends & coworkers. He works in a small cube filling out billing reports day after day. While at the drug store refilling his prescription, Wesley is approached by Fox (Angelina Jolie) whom precedes to tell him that his dad was the greatest assasin to ever live & the other one is behind him ready to blow him into pieces. Fox takes Wesley back to the Fraternity's place, where a secret society of assassins in which his father was a part of, reside. They train him rigorously until he controls all the special gifts that he was born with in order to avenge his father's death.
Wanted is filled with a spectacular (and my personal favorites) cast, from Angelina & Morgan Freeman to Common & Thomas Kretschmann (who plays Cross, Wesley's dad.) Who is so damn fine by the way. Wheu!!! That is a hot dad! It also explodes with a great storyline, smooth editing, action packed stunts & incredible graphics. It's going on my favorite movies list. I shall make one by the way & update it as often as I watch. Hmm...
It's still in theaters so if you haven't seen it then you've still got a chance. It's been out for almost a month but is still one of the top selling tickets at the box office, racking in over $219 million thus far. Go see it!!!
"Kill one, maybe save a thousand."

"Welcome... to the Fraternity. This gun you're holding belonged to your father; he could conduct a symphony orchestra with it."

THE TITLE OF THIS BLOG
It's Friday & I'm in a crappy mood. Don't take me wrong, I'm VERYYY glad that it's Friday because I'm off for the weekend, but... I'm having a blah day. I don't like what I'm wearing, my hair looks like crap cuz I washed it last night, ergo it's fuzzy at the roots. Not nappy, but more like the baby hairs are sticking up & there's no way that I can make it lay down cuz I don't like putting products in my hair. Go figure.
I got 3 hours of sleep last night, got to work 15 min. late this morning, stomach hurts a little bit & it's freaking freezing at my job. Needless to say, yours truly is not having a good day right now. Therefore, I am making a hate list. Of random things. Not just from today but everyday. And in no particular order. Sue me.
1) Bathroom doors that has openings 2 inches wide on each side so people can peep in & see you. Who the hell can't measure and/or is a perv?
2) People who complain all the time. Especially through loud random outbursts. For the record, I don't give a flying flip! I'm having a bad day too; don't wanna hear about your shit! Keep it inside until it accumulates & you go shoot a random person at the grocery store or something. I don't care! Just, shut up!
3) Sporadic headaches. They come & go out of nowhere! Ughh!!! Even though they only lasts about 30 secs they are a pain in the ass. I mean, head. Whatever.
4) Sporatic toothaches. *insert me stabbing someone here* There's nothing worse than a toothache. I'd rather have a million headaches than one toothache. Cuz most of the time it leads to a headache anyway. So save me the extra pain shall we & just skip to the 30 sec headache? Thanks!
5) The fact that technology fail too often for my liking. Our company runs on our own system so when it breaks down I basically can't do anything because all of the info that I need to work on is in there. All our client's names, info & etc! So I gotta sit there & wait for it to be fixed & try not to choke the crap out of the people that are complaining about the system being down. Refer to #2.
6) Brando's ugly habit of jumping onto people. He doesn't jump on me as much because he knows better, but everytime we have guests he's unnecessarily hyper & toooooo excited for his own good & jumps all over them. He has sharp claws so it scratch people sometimes & it hurts! He also loves to lick! Well duh he's a dog & that's what dogs do to show their affection but he's tricky with it. He's smart so he knows what he's doing. But everytime I squat down on the ground to fix his bed or rinse out his bowl outside he'll run up behind me, lift up my shirt & lick my back. Little bastard. It was cute for awhile but not so much anymore. And sometimes he'll jump on me, lift up my shirt & lick my stomach. It's so disgusting. And if I'm not wearing jeans he'll drench my ankles with slob. Asshole. I remember one day I came in the house heated cuz both of my ankles were soaking wet & Q was like "What's wrong?" & saw my ankles & died laughing. It wasn't funny. At the moment.
7) Spending $90 on groceries that last 2-3 days max. I have some big boys with an even bigger appetite in my house. Why the hell is the price of everything going up & not my salary? huh? How much sense does that make you stupid government?!
8) Speaking of, $40 to fill my tank now. Used to be $20. Every couple of days. Even though we carpool. It's not much compared to other people's cars but still! Ughh!!!
9) The fact that I went to a bunch of different stores in the mall, tried on outfits, finally found what I wanted to buy, stood in line, got up to pay & didn't have my card with me. And only like 5 bucks in cash. Moped...
10) Being too sleepy to finish a movie. Or start a movie too late, it's so good that I can't stop watching & end up getting 3 hours of sleep for work the next day. Damn my obsession.
11) Busy work
12) Just cuz you see me doing something for someone else doesn't mean you should feel obligated to ask me to do it for you too. I already did it once. And I hate repeating stuff.
13) And I hate repeating stuff
13b) Being asked to get up to get something for someone as soon as I sit down & get comfortable. Even worse when asked to go back to the place where I just came from.
14) People who use my stuff & don't put it back where they found it. I have warning signs around my cube now. Put it back or get ink poisoning.
15) Getting an eyelash, or anything, in my eye. Contacts + intruder = Hanh turning into the Hulk.
16) People who are nice to you when they know damn well you hate each other. I do it sometimes for political reasons. Even though I honestly could give a *rhymes with duck.* But most of the time if I don't like you I won't talk to you. Take the hint & go screw yourself.
17) Ugly babies. Yes there are ugly babies! And don't get mad at me if I make a face out of uncontrollable reaction and/or on purpose. I love most babies. Just not yours.
18) Impatient people. Especially at an eatery. People who make a loud scene when their order is wrong. Yea you're so not getting any dandruff flakes and/or other stuff that secretes from the chef's body in your food. Seen "Waiting" lately?
19) People who can't control their kids. I'd gladly help you out but I might get arrested, therefore not such a good idea.
20) The fact that I've been cursing way too much as of late. I've got alot of anger inside of me. Maybe from all the things from the list above. Go figure. But Actor & I had a swear jar thingy going on last week. He did it so I would stop cursing so much. Basically we had to put in a dollar for every curse word & at the end of the week whoever curses the least gets all the money. Tell me why I only cursed 4 times & he about 20? So I got 20 bucks. We didn't do it this week though; I've stopped cursing as much. I usually try not to curse so much on here cuz I dunno who reads my blog & I don't wanna be a bad influence. (Yes I do care! About children especially. I feel so bad every time I accidentally curse around them.) And I usually don't curse much but as of late I've just been really really angry. Sure I could throw out a ton of "big, intellectual" words in it's place but hell, cursing makes me feel good sometimes.
And so does this list.

POPPING UPDATE
July 6th
6am
Went to sleep after drawing the Victorian design that's on our comforter. Felt like drawing at the moment... Popped everything inbetween sleep. Hey, I went all the way from 4pm to 6am without popping anything so I deserved it. And it felt damn good too.
July 7th
Popped everything when I woke up at 6am. Popped my hands & toes at 1:10pm. Not too bad but think I'm digressing...
July 15th
It's been 10 days since I've started the challenge & I've been doing pretty well if I don't say so myself. The first day or two I couldn't think of anything but how uncomfortable my joints were cuz I wasn't popping them. I literally was walking around squeezing all 3 of their arms cuz I couldn't pop my joints. Cuz they were the one that made me go on the challenge in the 1st place. I was squeezing the hell out of their arms. lol. It helped a little bit. And then Meatball had the nerve to ask me if I could walk on his back! Are you freaking kidding me?! I told him "If I don't get to pop my bones, then your big ass sure as hell ain't getting yours popped. *insert Rihanna's "Please" here* But yea, the nerve of that guy! Ughhh!!!
That was last week, but as of late I'm not even thinking about the uncomfortness (I don't think that's a word but... it is now!) I probably pop my joints 5-10 times a day now; still alot but a big difference from 38-60. Only do it when I just can't take it anymore. I wanna get to the point where I only pop them once a day or, even better, once every few days. I'll keep resisting until I break this habit. I'm definitely glad that it's working...

IT'S ON & NOT POPPING
*Written July 5th*
Hi everyone. My name is Hanh. And I'm a popper.
I pop almost every single bone in my body: my neck, back, hands & toes. I used to pop my ankle every time before I walk too but somehow I stopped. It's horrible because it's such a habit to the point that I feel so uncomfortable if I don't pop them. And when I do I pop my whole entire body according to the list above. I do it at least 2-3 times an hour & since I get up at 6am on most days & go to sleep around 1 or 2am, I average 38-60 pops a day. Yea. That's 38-60 too many... And I have to pop my bones as soon as I get up in the morning & before I go to bed. If not then I can't sleep comfortably. It's a horrible horrible habit because my bones are gonna be all messed up when I get older.
So me, Actor & his little brothers were discussing & they challenged me to not pop my bones for as long as I can. Of course I took it; I love challenges. So I'm basically in agony right now cuz I wanna pop everything right at this very moment. As I'm typing this I want to pop my hands on the keypad. Ughhhh. But! I'm not gonna!
We'll see how long this lasts & if I stick to it if it'll stop me from popping permanently.
So here goes:
Day 1
5:16pm
Challenge started at 4pm. I've gone for 1 hour & 16 min. without popping anything. I haven't gone this long for I dunno howww long. Lord help me.
5:31pm
My left hand is aching/ so uncomfortable right now. Haven't popped it though. Mind over body. Wheu!!!
Me & Q ball just had a pillow holding contest to see who could balance a couch pillow with their foot the longest. We were lying on the couch on our backs with our legs raised in the air & a pillow on our foot. Him & Meatball decided to add another pillow on my foot. Follow by a box of matches, a cell phone & an xbox 360 wireless controller. And I held all of it steady too. Went for a while before my calves started burning & I STILL held it for a couple minutes more before I put it down. Whoo!!!
Ahh, the random things we do on a Saturday...

A MESSAGE BY GEORGE CARLIN:
*This is exactly how I feel... about everything. Quite amazing how someone I've never met can have the same exact views as myself & convey them into such beautiful flowing words. Very enlightening. He will be missed...
A Message by George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

DAY 3
*Monday June 2, 2008*
The last day of my streak of bad days. As if losing my phone and getting locked out of my house wasn't enough, I had to go to work on Monday...
I work for 3 different guys. It's kind of complicated to explain, but basically my bosses get paid on commission & if they sell enough clothes then the company will pay for me. If they don't then they have to pay for me out of pocket. 2 guys are on that plan & the other one pays me out of pocket period. He pays me in advance for the whole month at the 1st of the month. Basically I was set.
So come the 2nd, technically the 1st working day of the month, I came in to work & go about my day. The third boss called me into his office & I went in expecting to get a list of things to do right? Wrong. He asked me to sit down so I was already suspicious. He said that I'm a great assistant & yadi ya & went on to say that his daughter is off of school for the summer & needed a job. So basically he's sorry for the short notice but he has to give her my job. I mean, I was only working for him for 2 hours a day, 10 hours a week, but still. I was getting a nice little check from it.
He asked me if it was ok, but I mean, it was a rhetorical question. I didn't have a say in the matter did I? So rather than being all dramatic & rude & saying what I wanted to say, I just simply nodded & kept my cool. He said that she's coming in in a couple of hours so he'd tell her where my desk is if she needs any help. Mind you he just asked me if it was ok? So if I said that it wasn't then you'd call her & tell her not to come? Yea right. She was already told to come before you even spoke to me.
And she sure did come a couple of hours after he broke the news to me. Wearing a halter top & not looking professional at all. But hey, if I was working for my dad I'd wear whatever I want to too.
Mind you I'm an understanding & just person. It isn't a big deal if your daughter wants to work for you. That's fine. That's great. But you could've freaking gave me a heads up! I mean, damn! You HAD to have known before that morning. I mean, come on! You tell me the day of? So unprofessional!
I'm not mad at him at all. He's a great person & a great boss. I'm just mad at the timing of the whole situation. He was supposed to pay me that day. For the whole month. And needless to say I already had plans for the money so I had to rearrange my plans. It was horrible. I'm not sure what he's worth but quite sure that he's at least a millionaire so the x amount of money that I was supposed to get might not mean much to him but it means much to me. I'm not getting paid poorly but I'm not a millionaire either so a simple check makes a great difference in our household. Might I add I'm only 22 remember? I wasn't born into a rich family and/or inherited any money so I'm working class just like any other 20 something year olds. I'm still trying to establish myself.
Goes to show that people are really dispensable to some, especially in the work place. I'd like to think that I was a great assistant but I guess situations called for him to hire his daughter so... He said that when she goes back to school he'd ask me to work for him again but I'm not so sure I want to. I don't feel secured working for him anymore. Who's to say she doesn't need a job again? If I do agree to work for him we'd have to sign a contract saying he'd have to give me at least 2 weeks notice & compensate me for the other 2 weeks that I won't be getting paid for. That's the only way.
A month later I'm still recovering from the hit of that one missing check. But I'm doing fine. We're not going homeless or anything. It was just a huge inconvenience. But oh well, nothing's gonna dampen my mood or bring me down. I have plans & goals, dreams & aspirations. Nothing's gonna stop me. Not a water soaked phone, not a locked door, and definitely not money. Money will never rule my life nomatter how hard it tries. Because at the end of the day, it's just a piece of paper with numbers on it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

DRESSED TO IMPRESS
*Written Saturday, June 14th*
I'm a simple girl when it comes to fashion. Sure I get dolled up & put on my dress & stilettos when it's needed, but, for the most part, I'm a jeans & T-shirt kinda gal. I love wearing jeans & a tank top or wife beater.
I have my days where I'm extra glammed up & looking like I just came straight from an airbrushed magazine cover. Then again I have my days where I go to the grocery store in my pjs or soaking wet work out clothes from running laps at the park.
I've always been the type of person that doesn't care about what anybody says or do. I don't follow trends, whether fashion, music, or whatever. I don't care about what people think or say I should do or be.
I do what I want, I say what I feel & I never hesitate or doubt myself because of what someone else feels or think.
It's funny cuz I've never actually stopped to think about what people think of me. Of what people think of others period.
With that said: Actor & I went to get some Chinese food for lunch today. We saw that our favorite restaurant had a location near where we just moved to so was excited to check it out.
As soon as we walked in we saw a familiar face & she was all like "Hi! I know you!" she worked at the other location & I guess she relocated just like we did. It was pretty cool.
I'm wearing a camouflaged halter topped one piece short dress with a bow that ties in the middle of my chest. Actor has on some jeans & a black & white striped Polo shirt. We stood in line behind this middle aged couple & her husband was deaf. He turned around, looked at both of us, folded his hands to his chest, bowed to me & saluted Actor. He saluted him twice.
Me & Actor smiled (one of those polite smiles that you do when you have no idea what the other person's talking bout.)
Then Actor must've gotten it cuz at 1st he nodded & then shook his head like "Oh, no." Then I finally caught on...
The guy was saluting Actor cuz he thought we were in the Army. Cuz of my dress. Guess he thought we met overseas & I came back with him or something.
Goes to show people really do judge you by what you wear. Something to think about the next time you go out lookin all sorts of ways. As for me, I'm comfortable with whatever I'm wearing at the moment. So if you have a problem then look away. Lol

DAY 2
Ok, so this technically isn't the next blog, but it IS the next blog about my miserable streak of bad days.
*Day 2*
Thursday. May 29, 2008
Went to work, had the whole deal with management about my Pearl and went home.
Stopped by Quizno's to get a Blackened Angus sub *drools*
Got home, put in Alpha Dog to re-watch & got cozy on my futon.
*doorbell rings*
It was my next door neighbor. Well, their son. He's like 11 or 12. He said that his mom said that I could use their trash bin to put our trash in until we get ours. (Cuz the stupid trash company took forever and a day to deliver ours. Just got it last week by the way & we've been there over a month.)
I said "It's ok. We just put it outside & they still get it. They're gonna deliver our bin soon."
"Oh ok. Well just letting you know that you can use our bin if you want to" and just stood there. I mean, I've never seen anyone that concerned about my trash, in life. Since he didn't move I caved. I wanted to go ahead & get it over with so I could get back to my dinner/movie.
By the way, we just had a BBQ at our house the previous weekend so had bags & bags of trash outside. And we forgot to put the trash out on Monday so it didn't get picked up. We had it on the other side of the fence of our backyard, and somehow Brando got to a couple of bags & ripped them all open. Yea... trash scattered all over the yard. I guess that's why our neighbors offered cuz they probably thought "Ughh. Let me help you clean up this mess!" lol.
So I went inside, grabbed a couple of trash bags & went out the back door to start picking up the massacre. The little boy & his mom helped me pick up everything on the outside of the fence. Told them I'd clean up the inside later (didn't want Brando to pounce all over them.)
As we finished up I thanked them & head back to the back door. Which is locked!
Hence, I'm locked out of my house. *insert scream here* This is the second time I've locked myself out at this house by the way. The 1st time was the day of the BBQ & Actor had to give me a lift up so I could climb into our window. Yea... don't ask. lol. It was pretty fun though; I like climbing stuff.
But back to the matter at hand here. So I'm locked out. Again. The same way like the 1st time. How you ask? Because the bottom knob to the door is retarded that's why. You know how when you turn the lock vertically it's locked & horizontally is unlocked? Mine is the opposite. Ergo, horizontal is locked. Yea... And I apparently can't remember that yet.
So here I am, standing outside in my PJs, in a neighborhood where I don't know anyone (except for my new friends,) Actor's out of town, I don't have a phone cuz I lost it yesterday, ergo don't know my landlord's number so I can call her to come open the door for me.
I asked my neighbors to let me use their phone, called Actor, and he didn't have her # either. He tries to google her to no avail. He says he'd call me back once he finds the number cuz we didn't wanna waste my neighbor's minutes. So I call my other friend K to help hunt her # down too. 2 heads are better (and faster) than one... But somehow they can't find anything on her. I finally remembered that I have an email from my landlord with a leasing agreement attachment, which should have her contact # right? So she hunted for that, found it, but couldn't open it cuz the laptop she was using didn't have Adobe Reader. Back to square one.
An hour later, between 80 calls to and from using numerous resources, we finally got an office #. By this time it had to be like 7:30 or 8pm. I figured she wouldn't be there but she picked up. YESSS!!! She works across town from where I live so said she could get there in an hour, hour and a half, so... I just waited. Sat outside on a horsy toy thingy that one of the kids had and waited... in my pjs... in a new neighborhood... where I don't know anyone but my newly introduced neighbors...
Their family was really nice. They offered me to come into their house to wait for my landlord but I didn't go in since I didn't know them so I sat outside for a while. But it started getting chilly since I was in my pjs so I gave & went in. The mom gave me a diet Mountain Dew & some crackers (which I didn't take.) The diet Mountain Dew wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be (I don't drink diet stuff.) I sat for a couple of minutes & then realized that my landlord's coming by & the backyard is filled with scattered trash, which is NOT a good look, so I excused myself to go clean up the mess.
Brando kept bothering me while I leaned down to pick up the trash. He has this habit of coming over to lick my back when I'm leaned or sitting down on the ground. Yea, he's an asshole. After about 10 "Sit down Brandos!" & "Go over there & play so I can clean up the mess that you made Brandos!" I got irritated & put him in time out in our storage shed. Don't worry I opened the windows so he could have some ventilation & stuff. And some toys. He kept barking cuz he wanted to be out near me but I ignored him until I got the job done.
My landlord finally came & let me in. It was the 1st time that they saw Brando too. They had concerns because he was a pit mix but he was so well-behaved & friendly that they were ok with him. She said "What's up with the grass?" though. lol. We just moved from an apartment to a house so don't have a lawn mower yet so... We'll get it handled as soon as possible.
They came in the slightly messy house with me & we chatted for a while & then they left. The house wasn't extra junky, but there were scattered stuff in some places that I would've cleaned up if I knew we were gonna have company kinda messy.
I reheated my now overly cold sub & resumed my movie. Man... What a night what a night!
Wait till I tell you about my 3rd bad day... Tops everything.

MOVIE SHOOT 2
We went back to Lake Lanier yesterday for the movie shoot. They had to do some more scenes. It was hot outside but wayyyy cooler & less humid than last weekend. I sat in the shade for most of the day so it was pleasant. Brando broke his leash so we had to improvise & tie the broken string to his collar (had to keep the same leash for continuity purposes.)
*Brief film dictionary lesson*
Continuity is extremely extremely important in film. It's the consistency of everything in the movie, particularly warbrobe, props, scenery, everything. Say if Brad Pitt was wearing a red shirt, tan pants & holding a fruit bowl in a scene. If they had to reshoot the scene he'd have to wear the same exact thing. Even have the same hair style & everything. If they were to edit & one moment Brad's saying something, he turns around & he has on a blue shirt, white pants, & a fruit plate then you'd be like, hold up, what? That doesn't make any sense. It doesn't flow.
There's lots of continuity errors in lots of films. Pay close attention next time you watch a movie. Maybe you'll catch one
But anyhoos, back to the movie shoot. So Brando was all in the movie today. He had lots of scenes with them. The cast had to shoot every scene numerous times just to make sure they got the perfect shot. Actor & everyone did very well from what I could see.
*Rewind to 3:30pm when we were getting ready to go to the shoot*
So how about I packed all of Brando's stuff (food bowl, toys, puppy pads in case he throws up cuz he gets motion sickness & etc.) I put his rope toy on the roof so I could load the rest of the stuff in the car & we drove off & I didn't remember it till we almost hit the highway. lol. We had to stop by Target & get him a new toy.
On our way home he slept like a baby sprawled across my lap. He was soooo done. We got home, fed him, he ate & went straight back to sleep. Me & Actor made some burgers & I went to sleep cuz I had an early morning today. And guess what? As soon as I pulled out of my drive way & drove off I saw Brando's rope toy in the middle of the street. Was gonna stop & get it but was running late for work so figured I'd get it on my way home if it's still there... Anyhoos, enjoy ze pix.

MOVIE SHOOT
We're at Lake Lanier right now for Actor's movie shoot. They're doing an independent film called "God of Spinuza." A quick synopsis of the movie: Thomas (the leading character) is a Catholic guy who gives up his religion for Lint to study other religions. Actor's playing Jon, an athiest & the leading guy's best friend. The script is great so I can't wait to see the finished product.
Brando's gonna be in the movie too lol. I gave him a bath this morning so he's all clean & ready for his close up.
It's so hot outside. Not sure what the temp is now but we've been here since 3pm and it was well over 90 degrees earlier.
Brando got in the water for the 1st time. It was so cool! He just ran in the lake & started swimming like he's been doing it all of his life. He hates taking baths & refuses to go to the bathroom when it's raining so I was so surprised to see him jump in but it was so precious. He was having so much fun.
Actor's 2 brothers are with us too. I call them Q ball & Meatball. We're all having fun hanging out & playing with Brando.
We're scheduled to leave at 10pm but since we're a little behind schedule so we might not leave till later. Well, I'll keep ya updated on the movie as he goes along. Have a great rest of your weekend!

DAY 1: MY FRIEND DROWNED
The last couple of days have been the worst days of my life! I mean, back to back to back.
*Day 1*
May 28, 2008
I emailed the building management to let them know my situation. I then proceeded to the bathroom to look for it. Mind you this was like 5pm, an hour after I was supposed to be off work. I was so distraught I couldn't leave. lol.
I was actually tempted to dig in the trash but I couldn't bring myself to it. lol. I mean, I love my phone & all, but I dunno what people have & what they put in the trash so, yea, I'm good. As I walked out of the bathroom this younger cleaning lady (bout my age) passed by. I was like "Excuse me, did you find a phone in there?" *blank stare* "Did you find a red phone in there?" *blank stare* AWWWW MANNNNNN. Are you kidding me?! lol. Come on! No help at all today. I did the universal phone signal (pinky & thumb to my ear & mouth) & she was like "Oh, oh, telefono" and I said "Yes! Did you see one in there?" *blank stare* By that time my patience had left me (not for her, but period) so I just gave up & left.
Oh yea, did I mention that Actor was out of town? He went to Cali that morning. So here I am, gonna be home by myself until Sunday night, in a big ass house, in a new neighborhood where I don't know any of my neighbors, and no phone. Yea. Enough said.
So I'm driving, and I realize that I gotta freaking cancel my account cuz I don't wanna be responsible in case somebody did steal my phone. And I realize this while I'm merging onto the "pre-highway" as I call it. It (obviously) is a one way so I can't turn around. So I'm like, well, I'm not gonna merge onto the highway, just gonna take this local exit so I can turn around. So I fork left, and guess what? There was no turn around. Drove for like 4 miles before it even went to a local road. And then it was a one way so I couldn't go where I wanted to. So had to drive basically in a circle, in traffic, to get back to my job. Like an hour later.
I get back to work & my coworker said "Hey, you're working late today" "No, came back to call the phone company cuz I lost my phone" "Was that your blackberry in the toilet?" *insert my heart dropping here* "What?" "Yea, so & so said that she saw a blackberry in the toilet. She thought it was one of the magazine's people's phone." "Was it a red blackberry?" "Yea!" *insert knife here* All I could do was breathe out. lol. I couldn't even get mad. He asked me if it was still in there & I said no cuz I checked already. We went in there to double check but it was gone. By this time the trash bins have been emptied & replaced so... I just picked my feet up & dragged myself to my cube so I could call to cancel my account.
By the time I drove home it was 7:30 or 8pm. We've been on Dairy Queen's cheeseburgers for a minute so I'm like hey, I'll go get 2 for dinner. They have this thing where it's 2 for $2.22; best price ever for some greattt burgers. I get there & order, drive up to the window, and the guy says "4.20" (or some random change amount.) I was like "I'm sorry, did you get the 2 cheeseburgers?" "Yes, two cheeseburgers, no mustard. $4.20" I just coughed it up. It wasn't expensive, just like... man, out of all the days to change the price on me. Is anything gonna go my way today? Should've went to Burger King. lol.
I got home, ate a burger & fell asleep. Left the other burger out all night so had to throw it away. I'm really iffy on eating old leftovers or stuff that hasn't been properly stored.
~~~The next day the building management called & said that the cleaning lady found my phone & was gonna bring it to work & to come get it in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later the manager called me back & said that the lady hasn't come with the phone yet so she'll just call me when she does. Hours later, still no word of my phone, so they had a meeting with the cleaning crew. Turns out the cleaning lady (whom doesn't speak much English) misunderstood what the manager asked her. Cuz she had found a phone in the men's bathroom but it wasn't mine. So... blah.
Ergo, my beautiful Pearl was taken from me. She drowned & I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. Her body was never recovered. *Moment of silence please*
I lost all of my contacts, calendar appointments, my 2gb memory card, alllll of my freaking pictures! Oh my God!!! Brando's baby pix, Kanye's concert pix that I was about to post on here, and random other priceless pix. Boo *insert pout here*
At least I posted some of Brando's baby pix on here so I can retrieve them. Everything else is gone.
Gone baby gone... Another movie that I have to see soon. (Yes I just completely changed the subject, but... take it!)
I shall talk about my 2nd day of misery in the next blog. Stay tuned.
KANYE CONCERT
I've got plenty of pix from ze Kanye concert. Look for it in the next Blog cuz it's too much for me to post together right now. But anyway, it was the shizniz! We were straight back in the middle so we had the best view. Like perfect movie seats. (We don't like to sit all the way at the top. More like a couple of rows down)
We got there about 20 minutes before the concert started. Walked around & checked out what was offered in the concession booths but didn't buy anything cuz we weren't hungry at the moment. Took our seats & a couple of minutes later the show started. Exactly at 7:30pm. Right on time. We were very impressed.
The lights focused on stage, a guy comes out with mic stand in hand, places it down firmly on the floor & started rapping. Everybody screamed cuz they thought it was Kanye but when we realized it was Lupe everybody continued to scream. His opening mic thing was soooo hard. He came out to the 300 soundtrack song which was majestic, grand & perfect cuz that's one of our favorite movies, so...
Man! He did bout 10+ songs. It was so good! We thought he was just gonna open & do like 2 or 3 songs but he did a whole entire set. He's a great performer.
During intermission we got hungry so Actor got a slice of pepperoni pizza & I a Philly cheesesteak. Oh my god! Might I add the best cheesesteak I've ever had in my life! Melted queso styled cheese on it. Not the sliced cheese. Makes a worlddd of difference.
Our friend K was running late & was parking as soon as Lupe went off stage. She called & I had to break it to her. She was soooo moped. It was horrible. But as soon as she came in N.E.R.D came on stage & rocked it. I like them but not as much as her. Think she wants to have Pharell's babies. Lol. They had some funky background graphics behind them which was dope. They got the crowd so hyped with their own set of songs too.
And let me tell you: when they did the song Spaz or whatever it's called.... Man! When I tell you that everyone was jumping up & down & every which way? Wow. And then Actor was like, " I think Chris Brown is on stage" and I looked up & saw a whole bunch of ppl around him & he was killing them moves! Oh man!!!! (side note: I'm a hugeee CB fan. Loves him. Like. For real. No not in a wanna have his baby groupie kinda love. More as a he's a great artist & dancer kinda love. Plus he's sexy so... *Sighs* But he's too young & I'm taken so... Anyways. Lol)
So he's on stage & I see him on the screen & I freaking screamed! Lol. Don't think I've ever screamed that loud for anybody. Haha. Whoo! *insert watermelon smile here*
It was messed up cuz as soon as I screamed it changed to Bow Wow's face, making it look like I was screaming for him. Which I wasn't. Lol. I actually said "Eww not you... Chris" & Actor cracked up! Hahaha!
*Insert intermission here*
Rhianna was up next. I loved her! Was actually most excited to see her & Kanye. She came out and kilt it. Yes kilt. She had on this black & pink futuristic outfit that was banging. The choreography was dope & they even had glow sticks in the routine at certain points. It was refreshing & exhilerating at the same time.
Some ppl behind me were booing when everyone was cheering & it annoyed the shat out of me. Ugh! Don't freaking come to a concert & boo! Take your ass home then. More elbow room for me.
But anyways, I was pleasantly surprised when she did "Unfaithful" cuz it's been a while & I love love love that song! She ended the set with "Umbrella" of course & it was a great show except for the fact that I was hoping Chris Brown would come up & do the remix with her but he didn't. Boo.
I thoroughly enjoyed her performance though. I didn't know it but I'm a huge Rhianna fan.
*Another and the longest intermission* Everyone screamed in waves as Quincy Jones, Mary J., Chris Brown & other celebs walked through the stadium to get to the VIP section to watch Kanye perform.
A while later... Lights out; pitch black. Music up. Stage lights back on & focused. And it's on!
He had this whole space ship theme where it had crashed & now he's in the middle of the universe trying to find his way back home. It was the most creative concept I've ever seen. Loved it!
The stage was set up like the interior of the spaceship. Lights came on & focused on him lying on the floor & rapping "Wake up Mr. West Mr. West..." It was the most indescribable, grand, entrancing intro ever!
The rest of his show was equally as hot. The lighting & stage set up was crazy! So many different colors & set up galores. A visual orgasm if you will.
He did "Golddigger" where there was this video chick on the screen in gold blinking in & out like the signal was bad. (Was supposed to be Jane, his spaceship companion/computer sidekick.) She was visually enticing him since he's been lost so long & hadn't had some, umm, pleasure in a while. So she said "I can help you with that" and came on the screen. Once again, the creativity was out of there.
He had great harmonies for "Good Life" and "Stronger" was just... Majestic. He also did the mama song which made me a lil sad & everyone had lighters & cell phones out in the air.
Kanye did so many songs I actually lost count. Lol. I know he definitely did every single & even some album tracks. Had to be at least 20+ songs. Then he came back. Twice! It was perfect! When he went off the 1st time everyone was chanting "Kanye! Kanye! Kanye!" and he came back out. Then he got all of us the 2nd time cuz everybody thought he was gone & was thrilled to hear him just one more time.
Hands down has to be the best concert I've EVER been to. It was also Actor's 1st concert and he freaking saw the greatest show to date! Lol. How cool is that?!
DINNER
I'm rewatching "There Will Be Blood" (yea it's that good) and eating dinner by myself. Actor's at work & he has rehearsal for this movie that he's shooting afterwards so...
I just fed Brando & now he's outside playing. He's getting bigger & more rambunctious. I love him more than anything :-)
I came home from work, took a quick nap, woke up & washed me hair & put this crab meat stuffed salmon filet that I got from Publix in the oven while I dried me hair.
Being the great timer that I am, I made some herb & butter rice that finished cooking at the same time as the salmon. Now I'm just sitting here relaxing & watching the movie.
Not gonna finish it though cuz once I'm done I have to practice this script for a casting call tomorrow. I'm trying out for this part in a training video that's shot for wireless companies that sell hearing aids.
I'm auditioning for an Audiologist part. She tells her hearing aid wearing patient what to look for & how to use a hearing aid compatible cell phone. Cuz did you know that ppl with hearing aids can't use normal cells because when they put it to their ear there is a loud, buzzing interfering sound? I didn't.
The script is very cool because I'm actually learning alot about the subject. And if I get casted I'm gonna be watched everytime someone is getting trained on this matter, including audiologists, hearing aid patients & cell phone sales rep. Very exciting :-)
I have about 2 pages to memorize by audition time at 11am tomorrow morning. I'm gonna finish the rest of me dinner & practice all night. Hard work produce results. Wish me luck!
(NEW) HOME SWEET HOME
*** This is my 100th post by the way. Whoo hoo! Can't believe I've spilled that much! lol. Thanks for taking precious time out of your day to read about my tiny little life. Here's to another 100... *cheers*
We're all moved in. But guess what? Not to the house mentioned in the previous Blog. Yea, I know. Long story. In a nutshell, we already signed the lease & started packing. The landlord was gonna clean the house last Monday before we moved in so we told our agent to ask the cleaning ppl to concentrate on the mold & mildew in the kitchen cabinets when they come.
I get a call on Tuesday saying that the cleaning ppl said that they couldn't get rid of the mold/ mildew & that it has to be professionally taken cared of & painted over to rid of it. She also said that she spoke to the owner and he didn't want to do it. And that he wanted to add a clause to the contract saying that any repairs under $100 we would have to fix ourselves. Basically showing that he doesn't wanna fix anything now or ever.
Our agent recommended that we shouldn't live there since he was doing bad business (and we completely agreed) so we broke the lease.
The next day we went househunting some more & found a gem. Our agent forwarded everything to the owner & the rest is history.
We moved in Friday. Boyyyyy, this has got to be the longest week of my life! We got the moving truck at 9am but weren't finished packing so were busy packing & cleaning for the better part of the day. By 6pm we had everything packed & loaded, the apartment cleaned & headed towards our new abode. We unloaded everything by 10pm & had to take the truck back down south so we just spent the night there.
Saturday we had a midnight BBQ with a couple of friends that helped us move. It was so fun! We bought the grill, some tiki torches & a whole bunch of food. It took us a minute to get started because the guys had to assemble the grill & I had to season all of the food. But it soon got underway & we grilled the night away. We spent the night at our friend's house so in effect, we hadn't slept in the new house except for a quick nap that morning.
Actor put our bed back together on Sunday so we finally slept in the new place for the 1st time after the Kanye concert. More on that next blog...
